Education:

Education and science in the Netherlands form an important part of the social economic structure. Due to the open character of our economy, many universities and scientific centres have international courses and/or curricula. Relations with Greece:

The Netherlands and Greece have concluded a Cultural Agreement (21 April 1953) on the basis of which implementation programmes have been signed. Under the present programme (1995-98), both countries offer annually four scholarships of nine months each for postgraduate research studies.

Furthermore, the Netherlands offers two scholarships for attending the International Summercourse of Netherlands language and culture. A growing number of international programmes for the master’s degree are being offered by various educational institutes in the Netherlands. You could visit one of the 14 universities in the Netherlands or the NUFFIC.

Dutch lessons in Greece:

Science:

Scientific research in the Netherlands has a centuries old tradition. This tradition is kept up to the present with reseach institutes and Research and Development departments in Dutch companies and organisations.
